The ads were happy-go-lucky, fun, positive, uplifting, and an energetic feel to the ads.---The second half of this sentence needs a verb, or else it sounds like "the ads were...an energetic feel to the ads."
Mark Bouris would be better off not to boast of any association with Donald Trump.
This piece is not terribly exciting, but I learned some things. You need a point, though.
