How does one distill a lifetime into 150 words? Even a year would be difficult, and we have the same number of those, so I can just imagine what a job it would be to break them down into two words per year! But you've captured the essence of it -- enough to show some of the similarities and differences we've experienced. Thanks for sharing that!

Hi mystery man
I enjoyed reading your life story in 150 words. That is quite a feat to accomplish.
I was puzzled that you said "I lived with my wife of 32 years" because that infers that you don't any more and I assume that you still do so wouldn't it be better to say"live".
I wish you good luck in the competition. Best wishes Jen.

I think that with this summary you did a pretty great job of telling us the story of your life in 150 words.
But I feel you probably could say less of what you said at the beginning - rooms, brother, sister - and saved the words to say more about wife, children, grandchildren.
Just my take on it though. The writing is excellent and free of spags.

This post follows the formatting in the prompt. The only location is Ashland Ave. that I can relate to. It sounds like you have led a productive life, I think you may take the lead for being precise and to the point.

Thank you for the read. Sacramento is between Kedzie and California Avenues on the Southwest side.
