Tony Tony Tony... The delights you bring and the inspiration you find in your little granddaughter is astounding but oh so delightful. Inspirational. I just love your lines and the way you manipulated those butterflies on her dress. When I see those eyes I think Ah, no wonder! No wonder he is captivated. I think she has your heart in her hands, Smiles, Giddy

Thanks, Giddy. I appreciate your lovely review and the six stars! Teagan has been quite an inspiration to me. It was lovely to have her here over Christmas. Blissfully quiet again now though! LOL

Oh, this is the sweetest little poem every of butterflies kisses. But, it is not just the butterflies kisses but how she flew them across the seas.

Thanks, Teresa. I appreciate the review and your six stars! Only the other day she blew me another bunch of them over our FaceTime connection! I noticed that she was wearing her butterfly dress again!

I really like this. The butterfly kisses are the best, especially when babies are giving them. I love everything about this. It flows superbly and the artwork compliments your work. This poem is worthy of the awards it has received. Very well done.

SIX STARS

Just loved this, Tony. Just sad we didn't have more sixes. I saw the imagery unfolding in front of me, and oh, so lovely the feeling.
Magic should always be a part of a child's life, for it helps to bring back the age of innocence and wonder we once had.
Bravo. This one should be kept.

Best wishes.
RG

A nice upbeat, whimsical poem of shared memories with your granddaughter. Plenty of color and uplifting butterflies, that connect you and get you to share emotions. Nice upbeat meter and musical rhyme scheme suit the theme estory

Great rhyme, impeccable meter, and a delightful theme. make this a lovely tale. I'd only heard of monarchs and cabbage whites, the others are new to me. Teagan is wonderfully photogenic - I can imagine the two of you having great fun playing butterfly games, and others. Well done with this excellent poem, Tony. Cheers, Craig

Aww Tony,
this is so cute. I couldn't think of a better way than with butterflies to create a bond between granddaughter and grandpa. I love the picture, she is so cute. The poem was a delight to read.

This is a wonderful read, Tony. The ballad meter is one of my favourites, and what a delightful picture to go along with a magical poem. It's nice to share butterflies especially when they're so beautiful.

Great job.

I'm assuming someone moved and that's why you're worlds apart? My brother and I are horrible people so when my sister had my nephews we taught them the aunt and uncle tax. Really, it's quite simple. When they get candy at a parade they have to give us some, not a lot, but a couple pieces. For Easter they have to give us a piece or two. I forget if it was me or him that came up with it, one of us started talking about the aunt and uncle tax and the other, me or him I can't remember, over heard it and jumped in running with the idea. A couple Easters they got light up rings. They have a little glow stick in them and it's actually kind of cool. The littlest one gave me him light up ring. I felt horrible for taking it but he refused and he told me that was what he wanted to give me as his tax payment, I told you we're horrible people but we usually only take chocolate or maybe a sucker. I still have that ring in my jewelry box. He's 5 now but he still asks about it every once in awhile and I show it to him. It's my special ring between us. Kind of like your butterflies :)
