Hi there, I liked this a lot. To write a short poem like this with any deeper meaning is very difficult to do, but you've managed just that. Well done. Good luck in the contest. All the best. Ulla:))

Thanks so. Ugh. Appreciate.

What a lovely 1-6-1 syllable poem. You happened to pick my favorite flower--pink peonies. My grandmother used to raise them. You truly paint beautiful images here. Good luck in the competition.

I think that this is true. Those bees are a sight to watch milling around pollinating all of the flowers. This sounds and looks like a good poem for the contest. Well done.

Delightful!
What a perfect rendering for this 1/6/1 poetic prompt. Bees love peonies; that is for certain. And I express tremendous glee when I witness a bee taking part of any flower's deliciousness!
Well-crafted and Happy!!!!
Best Wishes,
diane

A very well-written 1-6-1 poem. All the bees will find great glee around the flowers in our gardens. Always make sure there is something the bees will enjoy.

I don't have any sixes left, but this would be a six star to me. I love it, so simple but so complex and perfect. The picture is perfect too, reminds me of my back yard and spring, which I am missing so much. Good Luck and Best Wishes in the Contest! Sherman541

Great job. It's harder to write shorter poems than long ones. You really have to put a lot of thought into finding the write ones that express what you want the reader to "hear" in your work.

Nice entry for the 1-6-1 contest. The picture you chose brings your poem to life. It reminds me of a Rose of Sharon bush I have that comes alive with bees buzzing in it. Nice job. Good luck in the competition!

Thanks so much for the good review and comments. I love peonies and can?t wait for them to bloom in spring. I had a Rose of Sharon at another home and they are very pretty - they are in the hibiscus family. (If you care to know. Lol). Thanks again.
