I love this and am in full agreement. I heard a story once about a non believer saying they could not understand the Bible. And a believer told him that's because it's like your reading someone else's mail. The Bible is like a love letter to His believers.

There are so many rewrites to the Bible that is we don't understand, it is our own fault. He gave us the guide, if we don't read it then we get lost. Nicely done AABB

Our Pastor always used to say that the Bible was a lot like the owner's manual for a new automobile. A owner's manual tells you what you need to do to not only get the most and longest life out of your new vehicle but what to use--oil, air filters, proper tire inflation, etc.-- in order to get it.
I always liked that analogy.
I always like your spiritually themed poetry as well.

Nothing is more sacred than God's word and there is no better source to find his word than the Bible. I have several book markers that give reference to what book, chapter and verse to find comfort or answers to hard questions. I refer to those in my time of need, good or bad. Very truthful and beautifully written. Sarah
