A very well-written thought-provoking poem. We can learn all we want in textbooks but we will never be able to copy or understand how God planned and keep everything together in our bodies and in good working order until we mess it up ourselves.

Very clever and your question, "Who commands" is intriguing. I like how you use the word command and the last line is actually a command, "Now become a heart"
Watch for my short story contest entry of 500 to 1000 words. It is of similar cellular lineage.

Thank you Roy. You packed a lot of thought into 3 lines. That is why I am an organ donor(or will). You just never know what organ you have that could help others. Cant wait to read your next post.

Nice poem, leaving something for most to reflect on. Of course our creator designed us but how, scientifically does it happen? Thank you for the poem Roy.

It is such a marvel, isn't it? Thanks for this good reminder that God does have all things under His control. Looking at the world, it doesn't look like it. But then there is so much we can't see like the individual cells. Great little poem, Roy!

I can truly appreciate this one. I am in a clinical trial and my cells are under a microscope literally. Thankful to be a participant in medical research that may provide hope to others. At the same time I know the Great Physician is listening to all the prayers and guiding hands of the doctors, nurses, pharmacy researchers. My heart knows the Who that commands.
