Nicely done aabb rhyming poem. I wasn't expecting a poem about salamanders. What a wonderful endeavor to give you happiness. I have been trapping, neutering, releasing, then feeding feral cats for ten years now. This is a satisfying endeavor for me. My hat's off to you. You are a good person and great poet. Good luck in the competition.
