Purr-fect entry for competition. Just reading it makes me want to be a cat, but then I could not review poem haha. Well done and perfect pic too to complement catnap. Wish you good luck in the contest !

Hi,
Cats do seem to have the catnap down perfectly.
A yawn, a stretch and a quick tidy up and they're ready for anything.

HAPPY EASTER MAGIC DRAGON: Getting a nice cozy, "shut-eye," or, "catnap," doze is always a perk for me. However when I was a kid "nap time," was always like, "Uh-oh, here goes my, "fun time" outside playing with my friends. "Nap time was always like, "time out," and it always left a lot to be desired. I just woke up from a nap, and this is the first review I wrote since I woke up. I'll write a couple more and then... right back to zzzzzz. I like, I like. Thank you for sharing. rhonnie69.

I love cats! They are the "purr-fect" topic for a poem. The acrostic poetry style is a fun one to write. This one was a joy to read. Loved your choice of photo too. Thank you for sharing.

'Catnip is an Acrostic Poem Contest Entree rich in Theme and imagery.
It flowed well and read well with no grammar issues as well.
Adjective Content was aligned well with Objective Content and Descriptive Measures aligned perfectly.

The poem adheres to the acrostic format very well. I enjoyed the whole theme and concept of the cat nap, especially as it relates to humans taking their own cat nap. Good choice of words that lets the poem read in a dream-like and airy fashion.

I envy anyone, cats or people who can doze off and take a nap to wake up feeling refreshed and ready to start their day.
A lovely acrostic poem. I used to enjoy writing these when I had more time for writing. LOL
