Uplifting and divine! Service is the best form of worship and prayer...in ym opinion (and my Gurr's too). Your poems certainly serve up inspiration!


Love this stanza:

He has the perfect servant heart,
He's Lord; and yet He's shown
just how to live and die to self,

Fine flow and rhyming, excellent cohesive theme, and delicious-to-read-aloud phonetics in phrasing (as usual from you).

I know of Mother Teresa well. Good to see her quote. And how important the menial jobs are, for it is not about the classification of the title, but the worth of the meaning.
I still deliver 3 times a week food for a charity to help the less fortunate. Nicely said.

-talk about being served humble pie and liking it too. Of course, there was a large six course meal on etiquette, reserve, morals, virtues, love and faith as starters.
-I enjoyed what you were going with this is we all plan how we can serve mankind when it is just the serving itself is more important than what we do to serve. Talented as we all are we suspected we can use our talents to help when we may be using something completely different.

Excellent

Hi, Roy;
You know, you and I share a great deal of commonality. I honestly believed I needed to be an important part of the church to best serve God.

He humbled me by showing me that my accounting and bookkeeping skills were much more valuable than returning to school to be a counselor or Bible teacher.

I kept track of the giving records for years, and in my Monday mundane tasks, I sang hymns and spoke about God all day with the church secretary. It was my favorite day of the week,
