Hello buckelist
I read your poem and thoughts about Bipolar
You are right, I know of someone who has the same problem with their feelings are like a yo-yo (up and down) and also how moods are like turning a light switch from light to darkness
They have been on Medications for Years

Another nice job of describing this complex and difficult disease that affects so many. I am a nurse and I work with a lot of people with all types of Mental Health issues. Good to bring light to the subject.

Hi, Trisha;
I live with this each and every day. My medications are the one thing I can count on, but even they need to be adjusted every so often,

As I sip my coffee and look out the window at a New Jersey sky, I need to hold onto my faith with both hands over the next two days. I pray that the woman who gets on the plane on Saturday hasn't been too warped by the events of today and tomorrow,

~patty~

Is this something you suffer with Trisha, it sounds like a challenge and I wish you well. You explain the emotions felt here, the 'highs' and 'lows', it is good to highlight this for others to understand, love Dolly x

No truer words have been spoken. I work with many bipolar and other mental illnesses. Its not easy for them to understand their situations is why they end where I work.This is a beautiful poem you've written. God bless.

    Thank you so much, I have taught kids with special needs, and watched their low self esteem be worsened by rejection and taunts. I have a whole list of brain challenges in the pipeline, keep watching! Young and old, they need a voice Have a great day

Sometimes the medication can be a problem too, because they are synthetic drugs that can cure the target problem but has a side effect on the other parts of the body and more precisely the brain. This post is so sad and emotional, it made me cry a bit. Please do hang on, Jesus loves you. All the best.

    Yes, the medication just like any others can have side effects. Medicine is not an exact science. I don?t suffer from this, but want to give those who do, a voice. Thanks for your kind thoughts.
    Have a great day

This speaks in prose and verse in rhymes about the swings and roundabouts of bipolar with symptoms at high or low, and changes in behaviour, well said, well done. Keep writing. DR ALCREATOR
