This is a very sad and dramatic poem. It brought to mind an incident several years ago in Portugal. Very well written. Best wishes Jen.

Your use of poetic ambiguity is very well done in this gem, FB. This is showing in the degree that engages your readers in the grotesque horror of beauty.

Wonderful job and many thanks for sharing.

I love it!! So eerie and different. This painted the picture in my head vividly as I read, and I loved all of it! You got my 5 stars critique free! In fact I'd love it if you checked out my latest poem "In My blissful World" and have some feedback!

There are so many disappearances. Many are idiots like me who use to get just past the breakers to float and nap the mornings away. Such a relaxing time, until you look up and find the current has taken you out to sea. Which I've done more times than I'm willing to admit. Some body say, "Danger, danger, Will Robinson." Thanks for sharing another of your fine poems. :-)

Wow. It's scary and sad but it's beautifully written. I kept thinking of Ophelia but then she wasn't murdered as this one was. I like that you start with the jellyfish (I liked "bubbles of pain" though never was stung by one) which foreshadows what else is floating in the sea - the murdered beauty. Story so expertly told. Yes, there are many mysterious deaths and disappearances. Definitely worthy of a six!

Bittersweet beauty is finally taken out into the azure sea,
a deep and silent grave she travels to, on her watery chariot.;
A stunning write I am hypnotized by the ocean and all involving it. I love this poem it truly gave me goosebumps and made me feel as if I was by the coean. Fresh, delicate wording and gorgeous images with a wistful feel, this is fantastic and I only wish I had a six to give. Kindest regards and warmest wishes, Love Meia x

This is a surreal write and it must be terrible to have a loved one disappear and I know it happens to families. Your write is mysterious and mystic and as you say bittersweet, very atmospheric, love Dolly x
