Yes, Puerto Rico gets most of the attention but the Islands got hit hard too and have kind of been forgotten - the lost child of the US. Thanks so much.

Good imagery for this ladies devastation in life. to the current ways she lives by and for the humanity choice from others to see and help her out.
Maybe a tad choppy but doesn't take away from your meaning throughout the poem.

A lot of people won't leave home because of a natural disaster. I remember Hurricane Katrina -- well people couldn't afford to leave, which is different. May blessings be with all.

Thank you Marilyn. We had a wonderful time. It is sad to see the conditions of houses though that people are still living in and some still without electricity.
