This speaks about an unwanted divorce with a fictional cause and a fatal consequence; well said, well done; thank you for sharing this with us. Keep writing. DR ALCREATOR

This is a very well written poem about Geronimo. You used very good descriptive words and very good imagery with the art work and your words. Great job. I saw no errors in your poem. Blessings, Teri

Your unusual picture selection and title were intriguing and by the conclusion of your poem, so appropriate. I particularly admired your "arrowhead stare" image plus "bronco" and "prairie pirouette" similes. Cheers- Joan

When I was stationed at Ft. Sill back in the 70's I had the privilege to walk into Geronimo's cell which had his pistol and knife in a glass display in the middle of the cell. Small cell too. I heard years down the line they closed it to the public. I do thank you for selecting my work. It is an honor. Great job overall and thanks again.. MKFlood

Beautiful poem, of a saddened child in search of his own hero in his father. But, Seeing to have a father that was searching for his own hero in his times, must had been a challenge Nice write.....

We all long for heroes I think and need more of them. Thank you for your review.

Truly spoken, I have no clue if it was just my own thoughts bundled inside that I myself is still searching for my hero. I grew up without a father all in all and been searching in all the wrong places.

Excellent, I really liked this one.

'...so few to pick from
Why not choose the farthest from home' is a great expression, I liked that a lot,

Well done, a very strong poem.

Take care

-James

I am so appreciative of your words. It was a little emotional to write as it has a basis in truth.
