Hi there;
Thank you for sharing this Lanturne poem which is literally full of light. I like the sentiment of the poem - the exact opposite of hiding ones' light under a bushel.

A beautifully shaped Lanturne poetry contest entry. The theme is also very sound, it reminds of a scripture verse, don't hide your light under a bushel. So well done, good job, good luck, blessings, Roy

Wonderful write in such a short work. This is something that I think about a lot.

This is a beautiful entry for the Lanturne contest.

I like the message of living your life so in the future others will remember the glow and example you leave.

Syllable count is spot on and the image is spectacular. It does your piece justice.

This work has reached the exceptional level

Okay, I give you six for this one. I like anything about shining bright. I love the picture and background colors. The piece de resistance, for me, is the afterglow. It reminds me of afterburners on jets. Hubs worked on military jets for twenty years, so this resonates with me. I LOVE it! Best wishes in the contest. I predict a winner, winner, chicken dinner!

    Joy, thank you so much for your most encouraging review and, of course, the bright six stars. You put a smile on my face, especially when I read your hubby worked on military jets. I wrote this poem with my father in mind. Still so very sad but he passed away on Boxing Day. He was an aeronautical engineer in his day so your appreciation and comments on ?afterglow? was very much welcomed. You warmed my heart. ~DDoxo
