Hi Patty, I'm sure it's confusing for them, but hopefully it won't take that long to adjust. I'm sure they'll love playing in the yard.

A heart-warming story of two good friends that explore and get accustomed to their new surroundings.
This is a pleasant story. It's also very cheerful.
Another nice read.

I know how pets struggle when they have to move. Being with a military family, we moved often with our pets. Some dogs adapted better than others. I really enjoyed reading this post.

I am glad Bernie and Howie and safe and settled in:)

Good writing as always.

    Hi, Teresa;
    Yup - I'm in the new house and navigating a sea of boxes and the dogs and I are getting used to the new house.

    Thank you for the R&R,

Dogs adjust much more quickly than cats, dogs go with people, cats tend to familiar things, but both adjust in time. I liked your "looking through Bernie's eyes". It is always refreshing when we realise that dogs and children are the wise ones, and we are the learners. Beautifully written "Bernie" blessings, Roy

    Hi, Roy;
    Thank you so much for the R&R of this piece. Howie and Bernie are growing more content with each passing hour. Once they knew we were going to stay here, they calmed down.

    They'll adjust, dogs are amazing, wiser than us.

Poor babies it must be very confusing for them. It is nice that you left their things scattered around the house to make it easier for them

Dogs usually settle well once their food appears on time

Some people treat their pets as little humans and make them part of the family. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read.

It will of course take the boys some time to get accustomed and acclimated to their new surroundings, Patty.
But once they're settled in and everything is in its rightful place, they'll soon forget about the old house.
Our pets are so adaptable, aren't they? Sometimes even more so than we are.

    You cannot leave - who will send me cool videos like this?

    Besides, Mikey thought of a club you could run and teach all of us how to embed clips and stuff.

    I'm not leaving all together, Patty. I just won't be reviewing or posting poetry on the site any longer.
    And hey, if you ever need me for anything, anything at all, I will only be a PM away for you and all my friends.
    ~Dean :)

    I have to stay an active member in order to continue to take Panygynt's (Jim's) classes.
    They have helped me immensely!
