Sounds like what would happen if my husband watched tv with me. We're so opposite when it comes to that. I watch a ton of reality tv but I also watch sports. You should watch Australian Football if you can. I think I found it on ESPN or maybe Fox Sports or something like it. Seriously, I don't think there are no rules and you'll have no idea what is going on...and I think that's what makes it so great. Sounds like it was time for her to leave. She could have at least cleaned and made a meal or two.
