Hi Rhonda,

Well, that was certainly a test and ordeal to go through, but you find a way.

A fine and fitting testament.

Il had to endure my greatest trials - single I at the start.

that is quite life-saving - probably don't need 'quite' here. Probably either life-saving or not...

Thanks for sharing a message of endurance, courage and hope in this post. We will all undergo some form of illness when we get old, for our spare parts are no longer that efficient as we age. But the relief is, God will make it easier for us to endure if we believe in Him, as you did. Thanks for sharing your story to us, God bless.

You're not wrong about the age thing... however, many people, young and old alike, go through so much medically, that I felt the need to share what helped me make it through. It was an experience I never want to repeat, but I think it made me more aware of others who suffer.

    Take care,
    Rhonda

I feel drained after reading your very well written story. I feel so sorry for your pain and anguish. It has really made me think how lucky I am never having suffered like that.
I do believe in faith healing. Good luck in the competition.

I didn't mean the story to be draining, but to be factual and bring up just what God delivered me from. God helps with small things all the time - love, happiness, joy... but He can do more. He can help with the down and dirty hard stuff, too. It was when I had no one else to turn to - when I was at the end of my endurance, that I learned to turn to Him.

    Thanks so much, my friend,
    Rhonda

Thank you so very much. To be honest, I wouldn't post this until I really felt it's all behind me. Pardon the pun, but I really do feel so much stronger, and am back to my normal activities, and back to having loads of stamina and energy. Until I got to that point, I left this Testimony shelved.

I still don't really like to talk about it, but it's time to share what I learned from it. Thanks for reviewing, my friend.

    Take care,
    Rhonda

I think this is a good entry for the 'Non-Fiction' writing prompt.
Your story is well told and rather incredible. I'm glad that you have pulled through it all and are home now.
Well done and good luck to you with the competition.

On May 4th, 2017, I had to have surgery to remove a tumor in my colon. It was large and assumed cancerous. While they found it to be "pre-cancerous" in the end, my journey was one I never hope to have to repeat. ' Wow. I know you don't want sympathy but you do have my empathy. I love how tough you are while showing us your vulnerability well done on a great write and I pray you remain healthy love and prayers Meia xx

Oh ouch! You poor thing. I've done the hospital surgery thing, but not like what you describe. Yikes. Bless your soul. I'm guessing you're cancer free now? I hope so. This is an amazing entry for the non-fiction story contest. If I had any influence, Id declare you the winner right now.

Sincerely Joy xx

Beautiful, wonderful, inspiring story of faith and love. I envy You. I've told you so before, but it bears repeating. Finding that faith deep inside yourself is a gift in itself. I had it, once. I seek it now.

I love you, Rhonda.

Thank you, Marla. It didn?t come right away, and my trial was short. But I can truly tell you that when those people prayed with me, it truly made a physical difference. I?m here for you, Gal!!

I had a wonderful OB/GYN--surgeon, did my hysterectomy after a D&C didn't cure my ills. She prayed with me before my surgeries. She insisted on a Christian team, two of whom I knew from church! I woke up from my hysterectomy feeling better than I had in years. She moved away and now she's back and we've been friends since the day I met her.

Oh wow, how cool!! See, your faith is returning. For me, it came in an instant, and it did waver now and then.
