The beauty of falling in love I see in the roses on the mantle's and from there the beauty of managing the choice of words and things gave me the knowing that forever in love has no comparison, exceptional.

This is a lovely love poem dedicated to your husband :) Congratulations on being married for many, many years. Happy Birthday to your husband as well. I'm sure he will enjoy your gift of a poem.
You have fine iambic pentameter in each line. I'm seeing some great rhyme combinations that are beyond the ordinary such as, negligee/way, wall/protocol. It sounds to me like you hunted for nice rhymes and were careful about your choices. You confused me in stanza two by using, "though" and, "yet" which I consider appropriate words for the turn or volta. I'm not complaining. You expressed deeper meaning to your message just as should be done in the second stanza. Then the real turn or volta came in stanza three. I like that you did things a tad different from usual expectations. It's unique and refreshing. Nice closing couplet to sum everything up with a bright red ribbon.

first I must read to increase my membership money
second I must take time to create a poem
It's hard to do when you have other things in your life that must be done.

What a beautiful declaration of enduring love.
I'm a gone romantic at heart, and although I'm
no poet - being verbose, all my romance stories
are done in prose - I still melt at such a wonderfully
written love story.

Excellent iambic pentameter, good "turn", or volta in line nine using the tell-tale word "but," and an abab rhyme scheme just as this particular type of sonnet is well known for.
