A very well-written poem about Aussie day and how you celebrate this big event. It is great when multi races live well together and accept each other's differences and are happy to be one nation.

Hi Sandra, Thank you and Australia is very multi- cultural and inviting to all people to come here .Yes we do have our minority groups of racists and trouble makers bit the majority are fun loving clean living patriots who love Australia and it is worth celebrating Cheers as always mate Christine

A nice tribute to Australia, as well the fact that people though not in all cases, live together in peace, Yes, there are differences in multiculturalism, as is everywhere, yet, the notion of togetherness and harmony is well embedded in the write. in praise of a beautiful country.
Nicely done.
My very best wishes.

Happy Australia Day to you, from a fellow antipodean.
The choice of colour scheme and image are, of course, totally appropriate for the day. No disrespect meant to those who have issues with what it represents, but I think maybe the answer is to create another day for those with a different view, rather than detract from what we have. Excessive nationalism is not something I enjoy, but I think we can allow ourselves this one day where we celebrate our achievements.
Excellent rhyme and meter, sentiments expressed well. Nice job with this.

What a wonderfully well-written tribute to your beautiful nation and her people, Christine.
Your Aussie patriotism shines with appreciation and gratitude.
It's always nice to see someone honor the land they call home.
Hear, hear...to the Land Down Under!
Nice poem.

And you have room. Room to breathe and to grow. Crowding is where poverty and envy and strife begin. Think fast, Australia may inherit titles she never expected
when the rest of the world chokes on it's own waste...excellent post.
