Nicely written poem about passion, making love and its result. It is good when married couples can still have passion. The artwork shows that love can sometimes cause our eyes to blur from tears of happiness.

A wonderful, sensual poem that takes us on a journey of untamed passion, then after the happiness that night brought with the exciting climax of a sister for your son.
Brilliant

Sometimes words to pen come from memories, some bad and some wonderful. We are blessed with our children, two sons and a daughter and grandchildren. Love is always the catalyst to any experience. Thak you for reading and the kind comments.

Yes, memories can bring forth words to pen; that was what happened with this, true and unforgettable. We have been blessed with two sons and a daughter. It affirms the fact LOVE is the catalyst for all things good.

A commendable presentation of passion and love, Brigitte. I'm here to say--in a shy way, "You're throws of passion remind me of a hard hit baseball. It went over the fence--and you scored a home run. Oh, by the way! Why were you blushing? The only one watching--was God! Of course, you heard what He said, "Be fruitful and multiply, my child!" Sweet Jesus--You sure listened, huh? The artwork by, booklotto is awesome--and so is your writing. Hear the train? Toot, toot!
xx Bill

Thank you the awesome review of this true poem that spewed out of my memory at a given moment in time. Love, the beginning of everything, and in the end, ultimate reunion with God, the awaited ultimate love.
You are a friend that is honest and admirable in the missions you accomplish. May you experience a love that sustains, nourishes, and fullfils you every dream. God is the spirit on that train...by your side..on the way to wherever he wishes you to be.
Love, hugs, and a smooch, (Jan won't mind)
Brigitte

A very well-written poem about passion and love during a wonderful night together with a partner. The reults of that passionate night will be born nine months later.

This poem, Oh What a Night, has a nice memory to make the creation of a new life somewhat more reasonable. Kids are the sour that makes the sweet sweeter. Not really. Yea, Kids!

This is good, clean writing. I think you did a very nice job describing a wonderful moment that later provided the ultimate reward. I can actually remember the night my wife and I consummated our son, nearly 24 years ago. It's amazing how one time can be so much more special than another. Nicely done.

Loved your use of "mister," and you had your twist alright. I wasn't expecting the "sister." I was caught unawares mostly because of your "mister" talk. I was not expecting him to be your husband. Fun, fun poem. You clearly have a knack with language. Enjoyed the poem immensely. Just curious though, where was your restaurant?

Thank you for reading and the lovely comments. This was a true story! We were blessed by this surprise. My restaurant was on Lake Chesdin, in Chestefield, Virginia. It was fine dining; candles, lake view, fireplace in winter and elegant .Loved it! It was hard work as I did everything and anything that needed doing. Some times employees were late or sick, etc. I hosted many group gatherings and enjoyed every minute. I made a lot of friends as customers returned time after time. Since I was still teaching during the day, the stress of doing both the restaurant and my job plus taking care of my husband and children made me have to choose. I operated it for 3 and 1/2 years. This reply is lenghty, so sorry.
Sorry for the long reply. ( Yes, my twist came back!!)

Lovely Virginia. Your restaurant must have been so special. I can't believe you ran it and taught school. That really is unbelievable.

Yep We opened at 5 and I left school at 3. Went home made sure family had meal and off I went. My children were old enough to help. One son was my number 1 bartender and the other one a waiter while my daughter waitressed and hosted. Hubby sometimes came and helped close up and take out trash. hectic life but fun. On weekends and Mondays, (we were closed) I helped plant tobacco. Life is good.
Now, writing is my passion and dream come true. My second book is coming out in 3 weeks. An adult book this time. Excited.
