This is a fun short story. It is clever and a fun read. Mr. Giddles seems like quite a charcter.

I was a little confused at the beginning, didn't really know what I was reading, maybe it would help to have a brief synopsis in the description?

I didn't notice any errors or typos.

Nice work!

Ms. Meow is exhausted and call for a wrap to the interview--calls?
I knew a Giddles, but he went by Snowball. An excellent post.

Calls does sound better. Snowball must be Giddles' brother. Thanks for reading and enjoying. Elaine

I like Giddles. He's got a great sense of humour and that is a must in today's world. Great good fun interview, mermaids. A family jester is a must.

Thanks for the smiles,

Gloria

What a wonderful and amusing story, it describes a lot of cats that I know of, and yes they definitely are in control of themselves and their environment, very well done****kahpot

Tops for smiles, and entertaining reading. So well written with great dialogue, and interaction between the cats. Has the cats nature down to a tee, and expressed so well in human terms and the described behaviour of ''Mr Giddles'' Enjoyed reading this, and mostly with a smile.

Dear Mermaids,

LOL. You made me think of our current president. Was that your intent? Anyway I read it and had to laugh.

This could be improved by not repeating words and adding diversity unlike our current commander in chief. For example here is a suggested edit for this section.

Giddles turns around several times in a circle. He then returns to staring at the wall.

Suggested Edit: Giddles turns around in a circle several times. He then resumes staring at the wall.

Warm regards,

Winslow

I appreciate your suggestions, they improve the writing and prose is not my strongest. You have me laughing at the analogy to our current president. I think Giddles is more intelligent. Thanks for reading and enjoying. Elaine

Who could not love Giddles? :-)

You nailed the true essence of a superior cat. Ignore your human self and stare at the wall. Unless you're holding a container of food, of course!

Great scene setting and hilarious interview. :-)

The picture is priceless!
