This was a very lyrical poem. You voiced your thought well. Nice flow of rhythm and rhymes. Good visual imagery created. Creative. Good assonance with an even flow of vowels. Nice work.

I love when you put in the word "pontificate", it was the perfect word to use.
The only place that I could see for improv-ement as if you had a couple of spaces in between the lines like this:
