I never thought of mermaids as spiritual beings, but this poem expresses her connection with nature and her meditation. The alliteration of 's' adds to the hushed tone of this.

This!was beautiful, as well as rich in Theme and imagery.
It flowed well and read well with no grammar issues as well.

Very enjoyable. It flows so smoothly. How sweet that the mermaid confides in the moon. Lovely image of the mermaid sitting on a sea-worn rock. She has the moon as her BFF as she confides in her at night. She always counts on the moon to listen to her as she shares her sea-woman's thoughts. judi

I love this link between the mermaid and the moon- two magical and enchanting sights and you have made good use of repetition here to underline the glory of this poem. I adore Mermaids and the ocean as you know. I also rather find of staring at the moon. I like the idea of the mermaid coming out at night unseen to look at the stars and moon. It may explain why mermaids are rarely sighed if they only come out at night. All my best wishes and well done love Meia x

Another of my loves is mermaids and their lure . I don't think of them as sirens but as strong undersea beings that love the water and the life in the ocean another of my loves. lol
