Good morning again, Ricky: This is another extremely heart wrenching poem about two of the most horrible losses in your life and so closely together. I did remember reading one of your poems about your wife's death. I am so sorry about this reality. I always said that it was better that my mother died before my two sisters were killed because some mothers cannot live with the reality of their children dying before they do. For me, it been extremely hard so I do know your pain my dear friend.

This was an awesome poem. Stay strong, my friend.

A great poem extremely painful to read. I think tying in with positive message of organ donation is a great use of grief. Thank you for sharing such a emotional and raw experience.

Thank you for those kind words my Dianne passed in 2006
Her brother in 1998 Hey we October people are good people and see the good in everyone... that scale blows my mind because some time I have a hard time to believe people for I have been hurt and used so many times specially by family.
I' m going to keep the faith no matter what.

Thank you for sharing this tribute to your son and his organ donation. Your telling this tragic story in his voice is extraordinarily compelling. I cannot send enough condolences for the loss of your son and your wife. Take good care of yourself- Joan

I have only one 40-year-old, bachelor son, and cannot imagine losing him. Your evocative verse makes me want to reach out, hug him and hold him close to my heart. Sighs- Joan

Hello Doc,

Always keep your faith and hope high, as I also pray for you.
One day, the Lord has promised, there will be peace and joy.

"The Careless as well as Fateless Day in March...
"And, not November...
"For Better Of Worse...
"For Richer Or Poorer...
"Til Death Do Is(Us) Part."

Wow! I am moved and don't know what to say. So, obviously a good job. I jumped to review this poem. I thought I might actually know you. A distant relative of mine named Jason had a son who died in a car accident last year. Age 18. Clearly not you, but I certainly identify with the poem and the life-changing effects of accidental deaths. Good luck to you in the competition.

This is most unusual. The first poem I have ever read when the writer has already passed and writes from Heaven. It carries a message from the deceased who was only 18 years old that to donate an organ, perhaps the heart, of one deceased could save the life of one lving and in need of one. Well done. Dorothy

Wow! That was an amazing poem. One of the most powerful things I have ever read. The subject and the story that was told almost had me in tears on a Saturday morning. I have sympathy for Jason but he is a part of you. I did notice by his birth date that I am only 2 days older than him. May he rest in peace.
