This is an intriguing piece of poetry dear Brigitte! I love the cacophony of words. I think you have something really clever with this one.
Thanks for sharing!
Blessings and a big squeeze!

I like the triple rhyming words in the even lines. This does tell of the stages of writing and how inspiration comes and goes as it pleases.

Keep writing

VERY TRUE
You have written it well that illusive idea
nice layout
good chorus/thyming lines
even when you do get it out before it gets muddles when you read it back to oneself it can sound weird like; "where did that come from"? and you end up deleting it and then wondering if you were MEANT to write it
lol
good work
have a smiley day/night

Haha great post! I have a problem when I go off to bed and suddenly get a great line or two then seem to have faith I'll remember it in the morning...NOT!

I don't know how many great poems I've lost, due to sheer laziness at the time haha
I'm always convinced I'll remember such brilliance, but by morning its a damn distant memory.

Not to worry. I have Writers Flood. LOL

Well written
Cheers P

Most of our muses are cursed with a sense of humor. Why would I sleep be interrupted by "That Thought?" I get my best ideas while falling asleep. To make matters worse, a fog horn goes off to assure I am awake.

Aloha from Hawaii, I enjoyed how you brought the triple words into your poem. It's true how the spider can Spin Spin Spin and catch me its the web.

Brigitte, This is a very well written poem about you waking up to words that you can't seem to get on paper. You used very good wording and imagery to show your disgust for not being able to put your words to paper! love, Teri

I think that this is exactly what happens when writing. So many things swirling around, trying to refocus. If you don't have a pen and paper right away, then, it's probably lost. You captured this brilliantly. I applaud this work. Well done.

Brigitte, this is a great ideal. When I'm in the mood, free from the burden that seems to suddenly stack up, I write. They vanish just a quick, bringing comfort and ideals. However, that has not happened as of yet. But I'm getting there as I stick, stick, stick with the problems until I'm free, free, free. There is something infectious about people who are happy. They give me light to see through my dark days. I benefited from this poem, Brigitte.

I am so happy to hear you say that your are going to stick stick stick. I will shine a light your way if it helps. I can message you daily, to write write write! You are my friend and I yours! NOw...get off your butt and write something down.

Hahaha. I wish I could sit down on my butt to write. And no, I can't give up because I'm single and live alone, which makes me content. But the condition requires me and me only to make all decisions. The price is huge but worth it for a man these days. Women are extremely ambitious and view men from a sisterhood perspective. They have a take no prisoners movement going on. Nevertheless, I will continue to write what I think is worth reading. I'm a little slow, but I am making preparation to write something. Thanks for the encouraging words, Brigitte.

I enjoyed the alternating lines that gave a sense of urgency to the poem. You've taken a very relate-able scenario and made a poem that captures the emotions of excitement (at the idea), urgency (write it before you forget it) and loss (what do these notes really mean). I've wondered at many of my notes as well.
