Cass, I'd say your muse is awake and raring to go. Some really fantastic lines here, and I will start with your opening line,

Hope is the remaining string on the harp. Yeeeeeeees. That is precisely what hope is. Brilliant.

And your lovely poem goes on to open gift after gift. A big resounding yes again, Hope makes no promises.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this skillfully crafted and authentic poem.

Welcome back. :)

Gloria

Dear Gloria, Thank you for your review and the five stars. Yes, welcome back indeed Oh naughty spirit of Inspiration. I missed her sadly and am joyful at her return. Hi Cass,

I love the picture of the baby :) Babies make me melt. You have an interesting poetry style here. I like the theme of, "Hope is...". Maybe you could have spread those lines out more throughout the poem.

New babies fill our hearts with so much hooe for the future.

- "Many (thngs) to many people" - things. This is the description line at the top of the page.

I enjoyed this poem :) You had me at that picture lol!

Dear Joy, thank you for your review and the five stars. I'll remember that, next time I want to have you in the palm of my hand!!
You are a total softie where it comes to babies. Not that I didn't already know that of course, but now you have confessed, Darlin' you are toast!! Yes, I was a bit "toey" about the word "things" but there didn't seem any other way to express it. Also, this is the first longer piece I've written since "She" arrived home, so I didn't want to seem too picky at first .As I recall it was an argument over punctuation that caused her to flounce off in a tizzy, so I need to tread carefully until we're fully in harmonious communion again . cheers Cass

Hope is all of that and maybe even more, but it does bring light where there is only darkness and it does open doors that were always closed. Very nicely written with
great understanding of hope. Sherman541

Dear Friend, Thank you for your review and the five stars. Yes, the subject is very large and one could write reams about it and still not cover even a small percentage of what could be said. Most of the imagery is about me or family members although some reviewers have related to them quite personally. Nice to know I'm not the only one. cheers Cass

Hello!
And if not for Pandora, we wouldn't have hope! Well, at least that is what Greek mythology would like us to believe...
I found the metaphors and similes in your offering new and refreshing. Your work reads well aloud.

Best Wishes!

Dear Diane, Thank you for your review and the five stars. The Pandora story is rather sad, don't you think? Typical of the Greek gods to play such a cruel trick on Mankind. Still that's what being a god is all about I guess. Thanks also for your compliments on my work. You are most kind and generous. cheers Cass

Dear Sharon, thankyou for your review and the five stars. It is a pleasure to share one's work with fellow writers. While My Muse was absent I felt quite alone and distant from my fellow Fanstorians Having nothing to share I didn't have the heart to review much, but WE'RE BACK NOW. cheers Cass
