It certainly does seem like painful memories have a long shelf life, maybe even longer than most of the good ones. Your poem is poignant, my friend, and the presentation is sublime. I loved it.

Very true poem... the bad memories seem to overwhelm the good memories sometimes. It takes real effort to not let that happen. Love the moving picture you chose, really sets off this poem. Pray you're good memories win the war. Keep writing, it helps.

Yup, I can relate to this message. That picture is gorgeous with the rain looking so real. I've been there on that windowsill contemplating life and wondering why things happened to me. Today was a bad day for me, but I kept working through it.
