Have never been to Vegas, but have often heard, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Reading this story is surely does, but then again he is dead now and Chicago may or may not miss him. lol Great Story - keeps the reader wanting more to the end. Good Luck and Best Wishes in the contest. Sherman

Plenty to like in there. For me, it read like a stream of conscience for your main character. It had the deep first person point of view that engages readers so well. You didn't waste any words and created her persona mostly through the use of dialogue, both spoken and internal. I quit looking for errors when I saw you were in control of the narrative. Packed a punch. Great job. Should draw some attention with the judges.

I've become a real flash-fiction fan when it's done right. When the climax comes before I'm tired of reading. I categorize this as a feel good story, another creep chokes on a bullet. I've been gone for a couple months, but it's always a pleasure when I return to find one of our posts in my inbox. Great Story!

FanStory does not allow posting any more on the Classic site and my computer?s software doesn?t correspond with the newer site?s. Thus I have to use my iPad which is inefficient.
