Hi there;
Thank you for sharing your Monday morning muse. I think you did a good job of describing the mournful closet as it watches clothes leave for the workday - no more weekend quiet. Well done,

A very well-written poem about every day things that can become a boring routine that we start to dread after a long period. We have to blow steam off, now and then.

Nicely written and nicely said.
You have taken so few words to get your message across, this is not an easy thing to do.
Thank you for sharing this lovely poem with us.

This free style poem simply rocks the house, Susan.
Most of my Mondays are blue.
In fact, most every day is blue come to thing about it.
Yeah, those mundane observations so many make about so many but themselves.
Such is human nature.

When you are in the work force, Monday presents challenge. Mostly personal. When retired there is always something to do to cut the moments. Take a walk. LOL.

Yeah, I do take a walk with my daughter's dog nowadays. I am a retired college teacher at present, primarily the reason why I can review more work in this site. Anyway, thanks again for the generous stars. Susan (nassus)

I used to hate Monday mornings and would do anything to avoid them and Tuesday was always welcome. Your free-write is brought it all back to me, the middle stanza is my favourite, love Dolly x
