You have clarifying Hope so clearly in your emotion poem Cass and I love the line where you say Hope is bird song, I so agree with that, did you enter this into the contest? Good luck, love Dolly x

Dear Dolly, thank you for your review and the five stars. No it isn't going in to the contest, as I have decided to enter prose and not poetry from now on. Thanks again for your kind remarks cheers Cass

Dear Barb Thank you for your review and the five stars. What was the new word? Was it "aubade"? It is a word I've been saving up for a while now , waiting for the right place to use it. I found it alright didn't I ? Thanks again for your generous comments . Cheers Cass

Cass,
Oh, wow! Yummy, yummy poem, sister! GREAT job. I have been avoiding all these 'emotion' poems because they are so flat and dull, but yours is anything but. I enjoyed it very much - with my favorite lines being those I started off this review with. BEAUTIFUL! Thanks so much for sharing!

Cass,
In case you didn't realize it - when someone receives a reply from you for a review, FS notes your name at the top of it, so you don't HAVE to sign your name if you don't want, and we'll still know who you are. That is, unless it's secret contest entry, then it's anonymous. (But then, you're not supposed to sign your name anyway, right?) *smile* Thank you!

You write beautifully of hope. Without hope, all is lost. You make it sound attainable. That's a great attitude to have. Many people live their whole life without hope.

Dear Thomas, Thank you for your review and the five stars. Hope is attainable. We need only to look beyond the present problem and imagine an alternative for Hope to spark into life. Those who live their lives without hope are what I call "grey souled People" I have met a few along the way, as I expect you have too. Thanks again for your kind remarks cheers Cass

Hi there;
Thank you for sharing your poem about Hope. Hope is the thing you hang onto when the world is crashing down around you -- and it is the thing that keeps you going.

Dear Patty, Thank you for your review and the five stars. Your words defining Hope are so true. Especially the last one. Yes, it's the one thing that keeps you going. You hang in there holding on to that ragged shred of what might still be until things turn again and the sun shines through the clouds. Thanks again cheers Cass

Dear Jeff, Thank you for your review and the five stars. This was going to be a contest entry, but I've changed my mind. The poem came to me after a long absence of my Muse and so I grabbed a pen and wrote it down before she flounced of again. Thanks again cheers Cass

This is a very well written emotion poem about hope. You used very good descriptive wording and very good imagery with the art work. Best wishes in the contest. Teri

Wow! Now that was quick! I haven't had it listed five minutes yet and here you are. Thank you for your review and the five stars. I was going to put it in the contest, but I changed my mind. I want to explore prose writing, but this piece sat and looked at me until I wrote it down. So, not daring to refuse "the Muse" I did as I was bid and got this for my pains. Thanks again cheers Cass
