This senryu, Favorite Beverage, has a 5-7-5 format and reminds me of Star Trek TNG. Captain Picard's drink of choice was Earl Grey tea, hot. Good stuff.

Thank you for reading and reviewing my Earl Grey. I recall that the favourite drink of Frederick Courtney Selous was tea, but I am not sure it was Earl Grey.

Love your poem, I drink tea all day long. Earl Grey is good stuff and I enjoy drinking it. It is rare to find a poem about tea and this was a treat to come across. Best wishes for the contest.
