This is lovely, Vance. Gratitude, trust, belief and devotion to God Almighty. The one thing I would suggest in this fine poem would be not to start each line with a capital. This would continue the thought with better flow as the poem progresses, thereby making your words more impactful.
"For that which awaited therein is richer than gold
and forever binds the will of thought to urgencies
of gravity, not easily dismissed nor held in concern
to the common man."

This is lovely, Vance. Gratitude, trust, belief and devotion to God Almighty. The one thing I would suggest in this fine poem would be not to start each line with a capital. This would continue the thought with better flow as the poem progresses, thereby making your words more impactful.

Often wondered too, what if there was a 'gate to wisdom' such as you so
profoundly and compellingly share here. How many of us would have
the patience to wait, if the gate opened slowly, inch by inch, squeak
by squeak, finding it too tense and tiring to wait for it to open all the way?
So much self centerdness and rush, rush rules so many lives.
Perhaps only those who believe and trust in faith, and have the
acquiered patience would wait...until gate was completely open...
and find and come to know what your message so illustrously and
spiritually entwined, patiently enlightened and heightened to that
devoltion to 'God Almighty' all the more humbly and gratefully!
Thanks for sharing this magnficent gem dear friend.

I enjoyed the lofty tone and high idealism in this fine poem, dear Vance. Indeed, loving God requires more than 100 percent commitment. It requires surrender of the entire ego. I found the poem powerful and impacting. These are my favorite lines, for the weight of meaning as well as the voicing with lots of fine phonetics:

To the common man. To step therein is a promise of
Honesty and compassion, true and complete regard
And total gratitude for the power and richness of love
My only suggestion is to write urgency not urgencies
The poem flows well and works well without punctuation because of the fluid enjambment, deftly done!
