This is a great acrostic poem. It's a beautiful and magical word and you chose the perfect words to accommodate it. Your poem played well with your title and was peacefully and beautifully written to describe this creature.

Delightful acrostic. Not an easy form to master. Of course, I have yet to encounter a unicorn, but from the fairy tales I have read, you describe one superbly! Best wishes in the contest!

This acrostic poem entry meets the requirement for an acrostic. Nice imagery here, great descriptive words, too. Great picture which really enhances your poem without overpowering it. Overall, great job. Good luck in the contest.

A movie titled "Legend" starring Tom Cruise, Mia Sara, and Tim Curry as the Lord of Darkness, prominently featured unicorns in its story line.
It was released in 1985 and directed by Ridley Scott of ALIEN film fame.
If you like fantasy films, and especially unicorns, I would highly recommend it.
Nicely written and well presented acrostic poem.

This is a pretty description of a unicorn, but it's what I call a shopping-list acrostic - each line is a simple word or phrase (you have one longer line) and there is little connection or flow between the lines.

Sorry if that sounds a bit harsh, but I'm looking for something more, some poetic devices, some imaginative use of language...

You'll probably turn round and win the contest now! Good luck.
