Oh, my God! Surely you jest. A dragon in my bathroom--no way. My heart won't take it. Now, get the 'fire breathing' creature outta here and stop spoiling my day. Well, on second thought, he's mommas little boy--so just let 'em play. A dragon could be a fun bathtub buddy--hummm! Don't think so. A most commendable presentation, Brigitte. I have a bag of 'six stars'--'a comming on the train. Toot, toot!

Since I didn't have another bath tub buddy, had to take what I could get. LOl This was fun to write.

I thought this was fun indeed, and the way you wrote it brings to mind such vivid images. I thought at first it was a story for children but the last few lines seem much more adult, considering death and teacher's salary. LOL But it did end on a funny note... the dragon creating a sauna in the bathroom. I laughed. Thanks for the giggle this morning. I did wonder about the following line... perhaps a typo?

This is cute. One of my daughters is a dragon nut. Horses weren't enough for her. She would love to have a dragon in the bathroom and she'd love your poem.

Deborah, your comments are just what I needed for inspiration I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Discouragement sometimes is stifling. When a crisis occurs in the family, the only way to find release is to write. To claim my words will now be my goal because of you, dear friend. I am dealing with setbacks but I will overcome.
