House News; We are closing on a cute little house this Friday. The big move will be the weekend of the 20th, so the packing is in full swing. Of course, my books take the longest.

Bernie doesn't understand the move, but Howie does. I have noticed pets do like a normal routine to account for their day. If you change it they become confused. Our Fred is the worst when it comes to daily rituals. LOL Enjoyed the story Patty. I didn't see anything to edit. Well done. Nancy

Awww, this was so sweet. I love your Bernie and Howie stories. You really have the talent to make them seem so human without stopping to be cute doggies. Always a delight to read.

Howie did a stretch while laying(I'm not sure if you use "laying" in American English. I'd write this if it's present participle as I suspect - "lying". Laying made me think of what hens do, LOL!) on his side.

LOL! Yes, I'm currently on a break from packing boxes. The book part probably takes the longest of anything else - even the kitchen. But, I should have the library packed by the end of today. The rest is easy!

Howie absolutely loves his Kong toys. He has pink ones and blue ones. I can ask him to go and get one by color, and he does it! Shame on people who say dogs cannot see colors!
