A very heartfelt poem written about the loss of your son. We lost our oldest daughter due to a car accident at the age of 16, so can certainly understand some of your feelings. So glad that God is central in your thoughts as He is in ours. What an amazing thing that your son's contribution of organs saved 4 others. I strongly believe in organ donation as it can do so much good for so many others. And, it is a great way to remember your son. God Bless from Carol

This is a very nice spiritual story poem. I liked the way you transitioned your story, telling of the joys, and you did a splendid job of using the most horrid heartache a parent can endure to a thoughtful and giving gift keeping your child alive.

There's more than one way to be a hero, albeit an organ donor, and that will save the life of another, the cornea for the blind, the kidney or liver, and of course the lungs or heart. Beautifully written Ricky, a good presentation and prose work. Well done, blessings, Roy

Writing about the good, bad and indifferents of one's life is therapeutic and cathartic. I am an organ donor and truly believe in the gift of life. This hits me to my core. Well written, thank you .

Thanks Trudy Volvo Jason at 18 wasn't an organ donor you're not signed people that age have no idea they think they're going to live forever the decision though was and is and always will be left to the remaining family members which of course was a hard decision to make doctor Ricky 1024 and have a Happy New Year
