Oh Bravo! Yours is the first poem that made me feel like you really got the essence of this picture. I tend to avoid reviewing the picture challenge after seeing the same picture a hundred times. I'm glad I checked your post out. I love the tick tock rhythm you achieved here.

- Love the line, "...seep out in rhyme".

- I can hear and feel the, "Tick of the clock, sounds in my head" - doesn't help that I have a headache at the moment lol!

- This line hurts from reality, "but the older I get, the faster they go."

I'm giving you a six for this one. You made me happy by capturing the essence of the picture and bringing it to life for me. Well done!

Dear frogbook, Great rhymes and versions of time, how it goes "agonizingly slow," then time races by as you get older. Time does a lot of things to us, I wrote a poem called "Time Is" several months ago. You can look in my portfolio to see it if you want. dove

Flows well and was easy to follow and understand. I can relate how time is lost and as we get older it seems to go by faster. Time is a commodity that can not be replaced. Well done.

It is funny how we seem to have time to sleep, but our mind is awake! Yes time waits for no man and it ticks on as in your poem, a poignant write, love Dolly x

Great interpretation of this picture. Interesting thought - the fact that there are no hands shown is indicative that we can't hold on to it or stop it. I enjoyed your poem except for the reference to memory loss. Scary

Hi there;
I enjoyed your interpretation of this fortnight's 'pix this' challenge. The premise of time and how it passes has been explored from many angles within these pieces, and I am enjoying reading all of them.
