I'll leave the syllabication to those better able to cope with it. Leave the part to me that I am capable of doing ... and that's cute detection. I see a whole lot of it here, my good friend.

Since you've been back I've noticed you've left prose to its own devises and gone into poetry about 100 percent. As you Aussies are fond of saying, Poetry is not my cuppa. Being from the US, I'd be remiss not to add "tea"; being from Bakersfield, I'd be more inclined to change "tea" to "coffee".

But now I just ramble.

How is everything with you. Health? Books? Any chance you'd be coming to the States this next year?

Meantime, Merry Christmas, friend to you and yours. And a prosperous New Year.

Jay

Allow me to ramble in reply. Health is good. Books. Rejection is hard to take, but I'm getting better at it. Fortunately, not all rejections are formula, some offer encouraging comments. Sadly, they are still rejections. I'm not putting my prose on-line anymore as one agent suggested some publishers consider sites like fanstory as counter productive when trying to market a manuscript. Next question. Coming to the States next year, unlikely unfortunately. But who knows. Would love to catch up with you again. Christmas greetings to you also.

Forgot to ask. How is your writing going. Any success to report. Last time I heard you were trying to sell one story and I think writing a script for a play. How are those endeavors progressing? I've completed another manuscript and so far it has attracted around 15 rejections, but still persevering. Poetry is my occasional release.

I've had a resurgence in my writing activity, which usually happens toward the New Year. I completed the climax scene for the final book of "The Trining" and will have the wrap up, well, wrapped up before the New Year. Then it's off to market!

I've been studying a ton about Indy publishing. I'm going that route. These are decisions made because of my age's waning patience. So I've studied a ton of books and articles on successful Indy publishing. So I'm ready. Never heard back about my play. The story got published and anthologized in two books. I'll keep you posted on my Indy adventure.
