I could not help but laugh with glee as you turned
this image around from "pitiful imploring" to "don't
be fooled by the optics"!
As a SciFi/horror junkie I absolutely adored the way
you turned this image into a movie poster for
something like "They Came From _____" (LOL)
I had flashes of sooooo many classic cautionary SciFi
stories running through my head.
Wonderfully, wonderfully imagined!!!!!!

A very well-written poem and an excellent interpretation of the 'picture this' challenge. Sometimes we need to keep things behind closed doors in the interest of the innocent and vulnerable.

I like this. I take away that there were human survivors from an apocalyptic event on earth, and these aliens initially took us in, but then, we f'ed things up, haha, with our propensity to judge, discriminate, etc. Thanks for sharing.
