Your cute poem does indeed give us a reason to smile.
The powerful smile can lift every ones spirits and a smile and Merry Christmas works double duty right now.
Thanks for sharing your smile with us.
And Merry Christmas.

Yes, this is very true as a kind smile will often brighten another's day and they in turn will pass that good feeling forward. This reads nicely aloud and pays forward a joyful message. Nicely done and thank you very much for sharing it.

I am glad you said that about it reading nicely aloud I hope everyone reads my poetry aloud as it tends to iron out any problems with meter and syllabic count that many reviewers get hung up about.

Actually, reading aloud ENHANCES all those skips and trips along the way :).

A very well-written poem. The only damage a great smile can do is to kill the evil within another and make them smile for a while and forget their worries.

I'll agree when a smile is returned with a smile, it's a wonderful feeling.

When it's not, tread carefully.

Good 12-line structure. No filler, doesn't seem too short. No bad rhymes, I do like inevitable/unforgettable.

I remember when McDonalds' menus would have "SMILES - FREE" I wonder why they got rid of that? Probably because they aren't paying their employees enough to smile anymore.

This poem brought a smile to my face. Thanks.

Poem reminded me of my practice today of smiling at walkers and joggers during my walk up a mountain. It is a thing to do when passing people--smile and a friendly hello. You write of the necessity of this gracious practice:

Smiling is so contagious you know, reciprocation is inevitable
So open ya dial and give it a go, the feeling is unforgettable
To see the other's face light up, it really changes their day
So everyone fill their smiling cup and drink it all the way!

You conclude your well-rhymed poem by encouraging readers to show their pearly whites:

So if you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours!
It's not hard to reconcile, it's what everyone adores

This is a well-balanced poem with a message.

I have one question: when you wrote "such a frill" did you mean "such a thrill"?

Nevertheless, this is a fine poem on the reciprocal practice of smiling. Thank you for sharing.
