I'm so sorry to read this, Ine. I can't imagine what it's like to lose a spouse, let alone so close to Christmas. I send you hugs from Canada. Take your time and don't worry about us. we'll be here for you when you're ready to return to us. After several family deaths I read that you never get over grief, you just learn to live a different way. Take care, my friend.

I am not sure why I clicked on this. Having lost my husband (just had his 5 year)and missing him everyday I avoid or at least try to avoid stories as these.

Reading this broke my heart for you. I felt the ache go through it. I felt some of my grief all over but it is for you, because I understand what you are feeling.
