It is an exceptionally moving story indeed. Based on a true story, it does read in this way, even though listed as fiction. I would have liked to have known what could have been done if little "Timmy" had been diagnosed quickly or if there were any attempts made to treat him. It certainly held my attention throughout and I didn't see any spelling errors or edits needed.

Unfortunately, the mortality rate of this ailment exceeds 95 percent even with treatment.
Since 2008, only seven people worldwide have been known to survive this ailment.
In this case, the boy "Timmy," was not one of the fortunate very few.

Yes, this is a touching story Brett. It's not often you see generosity in the greedy world of today. In the rush to get Christmas presents for their own families most people forget there are those who have nothing to give their children Christmas Eve. Nice story. Nancy

An inflammation of the brain, Primary Amoebic Meningoencephalitis claimed Timmy's young life, not four days after the leisurely fun afternoon of swimming in the blue waters of the Caribbean.' I honestly could not believe how sad this was, how tragic... then the lovely gesture of giving bikes to the needy so that they can ride them and be joyful as Timmy was to keep his memory alive...wow...utterly amazing and awe-inspiring. This is such an amazing story well done and I know Timmy is in heaven now and safe and happy all my warmest regards and well done telling his story kindest regards Meia x
