Thank you for a great review! In answer to your request, perhaps the spirit (or,"spirits") will move me pen another poem about the new year, but not a synopsis of my failings at resolutions - that would just take too long. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

This meets the contest requirements nicely as you follow the structure of the Minute form well throughout. You almost has perfect iambic pentameter, but since it is not being counted for this contest I let it slide. Your theme is witty and clever and should serve you well in the judging. 40 years, 3 daughters and we still laugh. We are Blessed in many ways, but I still love to complain - just to keep up! Thanks for your nice review. Merry Christmas

I would normally not burden readers with my personal life, but it seemed to fit the season. After 40 years of marriage - had I just robbed a bank, I could have been out after 5 with good behavior - my poetic report is based on fact. Thank you for your interest and warm comments.
