A wonderful message. I found a few wonky rhymes, not enough to ruin the poem, just a hiccup in the flow. Still, you capture your feelings well in just sixteen lines.

Poignant in relation to the times and remembrance. The charting of that horrific day through to contemporary fears of terrorism are so true! Nice job!

December 7, is a unforgettable day in our history. In 1991, I was able to visit the Arizona memorial in Pearl Harbor. Still that many years later there was oil coming to the surface from the wreckage. Also seeing the many names of those lost that day was difficult. One week before the bombing of pearl Harbor, My oldest brother was on one of the newer ships in Pearl Harbor and his ship was sent to that Panama Canal to bottle up the French fleet, which indicated the FDR knew Pearl Harbor was going to be bombed. It has since been learned that America had broken the Japanese code two weeks before the bombing.

Excellent, and yes we have much to fear in the coming months, terrorism may even take a back seat to the next war, it seems the more we fight for freedom the more of it we lose, very well done****kahpot

Hi, Dan
= I certainly agree with you, how this world if being taken over by terrorism--it seems at every turn.
= Everything our military has/and still fights for is being tested. Very sad times.
= An excellent write.
Cheers, J

A very well-written poem about 7 December 1941. It is a day many will never forget. They feel itvis like yesterday. We seem to be still at war on a daily basis against terrorism.

Thank you for the reminder of the tragic event on this day so long ago.
We should never be allowed to forget the stupidity of man so that we may not repeat such terrible actions.
