Hi Kahpot, this is a well written acrostic - very well worded with much truth. But as George Orwell said in his book Animal Farm. 'All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others'. It's the real world we live in. I like what you have written better. Good author notes. Regards Dorothy

Never has been, and it never will be.
Transparency in government is important, I think.
After all, we like to feel secure in the knowledge that our chosen leaders truly have our best interests at heart.

I enjoyed your loop poem. You did a great job with your ending word that begin the next line. All make sense & flow ell one to the other. The image is great, too. I want to put the word 'rights' instead of 'rites in the first 2 lines. Are you using rites to mean an action?
Loop poems are not easy to do & make sense. This one does. It is a great commentary on out society. Thanks for sharing. Jan

The glitch in our fate is that all tribes and nations must crave peace. If even one warlike cult is left, it's not peace, it's a slaughterhouse. That said, the loop acrostic looks tough to me, and you have done well at it.

Rites that were written sworn and engraved
I love the flow of this and the linking, looped words. You bring your poem to a stunning conclusion and demand:
Demand that the written is placed in the open
Open and read by the leaders of mankind
Mankind is the blood that bleeds for our freedom
