Hi Mike, this is a sad poem you've written about a mom and son not having enough for Christmas. I enjoyed reading about the tree. Sometimes, it's just the simple things that can be the most beautiful.

Rock hard working and Imagination you made your Christmas dreams come true it just goes to show you a $25 what a miracle we can do even today we have those dollar stores and they have fine little cheapy presents that'll be suitable for young children they don't know the difference as long as his Raptor in a box they're happy to get a little plastic helicopter work $0.25 to make that let you pay a dollar for so have a wonderful Christmas holiday this year and I hope you more than 24 dollars worth of presents good luck with this doctor Ricky 1024

The truth is really out there. I remember making decorations out of newspaper, we never had a real tree. My dad brought home a ham, only because his boss gave the workers all a ham for Christmas. We had canned peaches for sweets and dad made me a toy soldier, painted him and made the legs and arms jointed so the soldier could dance on a sheet of plywood. Ah, those were the days of Christmas real.

This is the kind of Christmas Story that makes my heart go bumpity bump! I remember the first time I couldn't afford anything for my children and I had worked so long and hard for nothing. It was a humiliation for sure but my children said they did not care. They didn't need Christmas presents to love me and their dad. Loved this story a lot. xoxo deborah
