This is certainly true. The past is always present. :-)

"Why did mom tell grandpa he had to leave?" Thirteen-year-old Donna threw the washcloth into the ....

Mom
Grandpa

They married, then I and your uncle Bob came along, and the rest is our family history.

Either uncle, Bob

OR

Uncle Bob

Hope that helps. All the best in the contest.

This story describing how a family deals with admitting Grandpa to a senior residence is very believable. I especially like how Donna, the younger grandchild is characterized as Grandpa's protector and, later, as the only one who truly sends what has happened. Mother's rationale for placing him there is very convincing. A really good plot twist when Grandpa immediately disappears. There is mention of Grandpa hallucinating, but the supernatural elements appear rather late in the story. How might you hint at them earlier? Otherwise, the story is well aced, the dialog is believable, and the E solution is convincing. Nice job!

This speaks relation keeping and family living, interactions exposed to help promote a view that there is no past all present for it is just a mere feeling; I like. DR ALCREATOR
