Happy New Year Darren! I'm just now trying to catch up with my reading and replies since my internet was down for days. I loved this Christmas poem. It has a creative and unique rhyme pattern to it and a wonderful message. It is so much fun to read and I enjoyed everything about it. (BTW, I've missed seeing you around here. Where are you?) Hope 2018 brings you much joy. Don't stop writing and singing!! (And don't forget to save me a book.)

This is an excellent poem for this time of year. it emphasizes how we should behave. I like the line" Open wide your eyes". If we open our eyes, we can do more and see more. Excellent poetic form here.

A well done message in a very unusual style of rhyming. It flows great with the wording and the double rhyming that makes it easy to read.

very good way to speak of times lost then the hope that they are found again in your lovely poem
I like your rhyme scheme
I can feel the writers compassion for the child who grew up and forgot
i can also feel the faith and insistence that it will all be fine in the end

This is a wonderful poem with excellent advice for living our lives at this time of year and especially on Christmas day itself. Coming from a male POV is a good thing as well, since men see things differently from females. Thanks for sharing this lovely poem. Patricia
