I love these words so much and wish I had a six to give, such truth here, we walk around blinkered and if only we took time to see the beauty in our world it would infuse us and take away all the bad, poignant words here, love Dolly x

Thank you, my friend, for the wonderful review. I'll take that virtual six, and the sentiments behind it.
Sometimes, you just have to take a break and enjoy life!
Take care,
Rhonda

It's great that God gives us reminders and wonders to take the focus off ourselves and turn our attention outwards instead of self absorption, I first noticed a sunset and the dawn, when I had met Him early. Well done, Rhonda, beautifully written. Blessings, Roy

Thank you, Roy! I was at a conference all week in Houston. I was in such a hurry to get from one meeting to another, when I found a sunbeam that had made its way through a window. I stopped and let the light and warmth remind me Whose child I am.
Take care,
Rhonda

Thank you so much, RG. It was one of those moments that grabbed my attention. A sunbeam where I hadn't expected it!
It isn't in a competition, but thanks for the well wishes on it!

Excellent poetry, my friend. I love the artwork you put with this writing. It is lovely and most appropriate for the theme of the poem. Nicely done. You do great work.

You got me with this one, Rhonda :) The art is gorgeous. Phyllis has exquisite talent. I just reviewed your contest entry where the son was arrested. Now you take me into a gorgeous painting to soothe this sad young girl. Your advice is inspiring. I will savor this little poem and advice all day.

Awww, thank you, Joy. Until today, I had no idea Phyllis was an artist as well. In my business, we call that twice gifted. She's amazing.
Thank you for the beautiful stars, and the warm review. You've uplifted my spirit!

Hi Rhonda, Phyllis' artwork is beautiful and compliments, your wonderful words. So true that nature can have a healing effect, and that's what you're saying to the sad ballerina. I loved your poem. All the best. Ulla:)))

Rhonda, often we miss so much in the world that is pleasing to the soul, just because we fail to take the moments to enjoy those things. Many blessings for a good weekend. Patricia

Thank you, Patricia! You're right. We get so carried away with the business of life that we forget to live it.
Blessings for your weekend as well,

Hello Rhonda,
It's a thought provoking piece of poetry beautifully depicting its theme.
Impressive wording.
Smooth and enchanting flow throughout from the beginning to the end with lovely rhyming scheme.
..."They'll take from your heart each sorrow,
and give you a reason to dream. [Life is a dream, but this dream is real] '...to dream/to live'/]
Marvelous!

Thank you for the beautiful six star review, my friend!
It was one of those epiphany type poems for me, and spoke as much to me as to anyone else.
I sort of stuck my neck out on the rhyme scheme. I'm not sure why I chose it, but it seemed to write itself. I appreciate your telling me it worked well.
Have a great weekend.
