The artwork of your choice is fabulous and complements your poem.
The poem itself is sprinkled with select and indeed very lovely words.
Often we're far too blind to the beauty around us, and far too conditioned as to what we should perceive as beautiful. This is what causes all the conflicts we develop, internally and externally.
Thank you for sharing this lovely piece.

Thank you for your detailed and specific review.
I like your comment about our conditioning about beauty. That's a deep thought.
Thanks for taking time to review,
Rhonda

A very well-written poem. We are all very busy in our daily tasks and we seldom see a way to take some time away from our work and just enjoy a moment in nature to get a new perspective on life. When we do take a moment we always come back to our duties inspired and refreshed.

Thank you, Sandra. You are so right about taking that little break from our duties. That's exactly what I did when I walked through a sunbeam at a teacher conference. It sort of drew me into a break I needed.
Take care,
Rhonda

Excellent, and if we all took some time time to look and to watch what wonders nature has given us, the world might calm down a bit, very well done****kahpot

Thank you, kahpot. Sometimes the hardest thing to do in our busy lives, is to take that time to let our soul rest.
Take care,
Rhonda

Eye catching picture frozen in time. A picture means something different for each of us. Nice group of alterations here: to watch a swan swim a stream. this sums it up in a nutshell: They'll take from your heart each sorrow,
and give you a reason to dream. Lovely presentation and words.
fantastic dream~

To ease the feelings and the stress of everyday life means so much and taking time to just get involved with what is around us, should make us feel better

Love the artwork! I love to find a sunbeam, or a rainbow. This poem is a good reminder of stopping to just take in nature and life, and slowing down some.

Rhonda, this is the most awesome poem. Bravo! Thanks for using my picture... nice surprise. It's not why I gave you the six=, though. LOL! I REALLY love this poem, and I'm going to bookcase it. :)

I was hoping that was you! I didn't know you were an artist!! Too cool. I was so excited when I found the artwork, because it fit the poem so perfectly!!
Thank you for the six as well as the beautiful picture.
That is so sweet that you are going to bookcase it.
Take care, my friend,
Rhonda

The artwork you have chosen to post with this is indeed lovely, as is the poem.
I agree, we only have to 'see' the beauty around us to come to terms with our lives and be at peace.
Thank you for sharing this lovely piece.

Thank you, Sharon.
I try to use artwork from FanArt as much as I can to support them. Sometimes it's a stretch to get the real meaning I want, but this time it jumped out at me.
Thanks for stopping by,
Rhonda

Beautiful poem, Rhonda! Love all the s alliterations (stand, sunbeam, swan, swim, stream, search, sky, snow, sorrow). Interesting rhyme scheme of aabbba. And the message to take time and release sorrow by being in nature is always a good one!

Thank you so much.
Both the rhyme scheme and alliteration were purposeful. I don't know why I designed it that way, but the poem sort of wrote itself. It was fun to mess with rhyme.
Again, much thanks,
Rhonda

I try to remember to stop and smell the roses, but at times, nature has to seek me out.
